- Service team management and job assignment
- Work with stakeholders to have Service and overhaul proposals to customers
- Take the lead to be Service related liaison counterpart of Division I and SOE business
- Responsible for all technical matters in the Service department
- Warranty process & administration
- Secure the required service competence for Asean region as well setup supporting process from COC Singapore to sub-countries
- Provide technical expertise in all Service related issues.
- Develop efficient solutions for mechanical or control related Service matters while keeping ZF quality standards and safety requirements.
- Guide the Service Engineers, by highlighting technical specifications and requirements for specific problems and mending operations.
- Manage the assignment of repair-activities to the Service Engineers, ensuring quick and competent Service operations.
- Liaise with local and global internal customers in technical matters.
- Liaise and support regional ZF office and partners for technical advisory & support
- Manage costs, schedules and technical product development.
- Deployment to site as required.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- At least 8 years of professional experience in the related field
- Experience on marine transmissions, Thruster and controls preferred.
- Proficient skills in MS Office (especially Word)
- Ability to interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings
- Independence, resourcefulness and proactivity in problem solving
- Good health and willing to travel offshore and overseas when required
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
