Royal Ocean Marine is seeking an Assistant Technical Manager (Automotive) to join our client team. As an Assistant Technical Manager, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our automotive department, ensuring technical excellence and customer satisfaction.In this role, you will work closely with the Technical Manager and collaborate with the maintenance team to handle technical tasks, drive continuous improvement, and provide excellent customer service. You will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations and ensuring that all automotive services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.If you have a passion for the automotive industry, strong technical skills, and leadership abilities, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities

Assist the Technical Manager in overseeing and managing day-to-day technical operations
Collaborate with the team to develop and implement technical strategies and improvements
Manage technical projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget
Monitor and maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical advancements, industry trends, and regulations in the automotive field
Provide technical guidance and support to the automotive team
Ensure high-quality standards and customer satisfaction in all automotive services
Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering /Mechanical /. electrical or electronic or a related field
Previous experience in a technical role in the automotive industry will be added advantage
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components/ repair /maintenance
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to effectively communicate technical information to team members and clients
Experience in project management and leading technical teams
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
