As part of the HRBP team supporting Nanyang Business School, the candidate is required to partner the school management team on a wide range of HR matters particularly for staff appointed under the Faculty Scheme.Key Responsibilities:Partner stakeholders on a full spectrum of HR functions and provide advice on a range of areas including talent acquisition, performance management and development, reward strategies, employee relations etc.Support the manpower planning and projection of faculty and work with Finance Business Partners and school stakeholders on manpower projections, budget and costings.Establish clear understanding of the recruitment needs and work closely with the Shared Services team and hiring managers to hire talents on a timely basisPlan and manage faculty re-appointment, post-retirement, re-employment, Promotion and Tenure (PT) and Lecturers & Practice Track Promotion Exercise (LPPE) for various faculty tracksAssist in planning and implementing faculty performance appraisal exerciseManage onboarding and off-boarding of faculty membersSupport in the conceptualization and implementation of faculty development initiativesDrive key employee initiatives such as awards and welfare mattersRequirementsBachelor's degree in any disciplineMinimum of 3 years of experience in HR and/or administrative functionsGood knowledge of Employment Act and Labour LawsExperience in higher education or academic recruitment is highly desirableStrong organizational skills with the ability to multi-taskAble to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships at all levels; handle sensitive matters with tact and discretion, while building trust and upholding confidentialityStrong communication skills (both written and verbal) as you will be expected to draft reports on the candidates who are recommended for appointments/re-appointments/promotionSuccessful candidates will be appointed on 3-year fixed term contract at the first instance.
