  • Position: HVAC Engineer (Shipyard)
  • Well Established Singapore Based Marine & Offshore MNC
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday (7:30am – 5:00pm)
  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $5,000 + Variable Bonus
  • Working Location: Tuas, Singapore
  • Company Transport Provided

The Job
  • Involved in all mechanical engineering designs, calculations, preparing bills of materials, and liaising with customers and suppliers for any engineering query.
  • Involved in design and construction document preparation and submissions.
  • Involved in technical review and clarifications with customer and suppliers.
  • Involved in coordination of design with other engineering disciplines.
  • Involved in construction, installation, testing and commission activities.
  • Involve in identifying the Company scope of work in the project.
  • Involve in solving technical issues that arise in the project.
  • Involve in monitor the progress of the document submission.
  • Some drafting scopes and guide drafters for drafting.
Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Possess basic mechanical design knowledge.
  • Able to do HVAC cooling capacity calculation, pressure drop calculation, ducting sizing.
  • Able to do duct installation and HVAC installation.
  • Able to do piping and instrumentation diagram (PID), Air flow diagram and ducting and Instrumentation diagram (DID).
  • Possess basic pipe sizing, selection and pipe installation knowledge.
  • Possess basic fire suppression knowledge.
  • Able to operate and draw in AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge in MS office (minimum Word and Excel).
  • Good communication skills in English both written & spoken.
