The primary role of the Engineering function is to apply advanced skills and knowledge of the Industrial Engineering discipline to develop and implement material flow processes, introduce new technology and equipment, Design efficient material flow in new facilities and documentation, and meet the current and future global Manufacturing strategy. Key deliverables include project management and simulation of material flow for different sites with various scenarios considered.Let’s talk about ResponsibilitiesFocus: Material flow optimisation from inbound to outbound.Responsibilities: Conduct motion time studies and manpower optimisation. Apply statistical methods to determine staffing and production standards. Implement lean principles to eliminate non-value-added activities.Team Environment: Cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing functions.Role Highlights: Improve assembly time and process flow. Develop capacity models and ramp plan analysis.
