Position SummaryThe Facility Engineer will lead the overall facilities management of all Company’s site. The Facility Engineer will oversee and may perform the safety, security, and general maintenance activities at the site to maintain a safe and pleasant working environment for all employees and visitors.Responsibilities and Duties
  • Maintenance of building, facilities and security in all Company’s site. Coordinate and execute, when necessary, inspection, testing, general maintenance and repair of the critical site systems and equipment in order.
  • Ensure that all equipment and other facilities are working properly.
  • Critical systems and equipment includes power/ UPS, back-up generator and fuel supply.
  • HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), plumbing/ water supply, security doors/ alarms/ cameras, Fire safety systems and equipment.
  • Provide situation/ status update to the Facility Manager on issues which are to be resolved and the critical system or equipment is fully operational.
  • Initiate interventions to solve problems in the facilities and develop a system for cleaning, repair and maintenance of facilities.
  • Deliver timely and efficient solutions to facility-related requests.
  • Liaise with contractor on maintenance/ repair.
  • Supervise contractor on-site.
  • Review risk assessment submitted by contractor prior commencement of work.
  • Ensure required safety requirement are in place prior commencement of work. Comply with management systems practices.
  • To follow the company’s procedures, safety rules and measures stated in the WSH Risk Assessment.
  • Not to engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger yourself or others working around you.
  • Use of personal protective equipment provided, to ensure safety while working.
  • The responsibilities to participate in protecting the environment, preventing pollution, complying with applicable requirements as identified in the policy statements and promoting sustainable practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • GCE ‘O’ Level with knowledge of facility management principles and techniques.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of working experience for senior position.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Resourcefulness, strategic thinking/ planning skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex, on-going tasks and projects.
  • High level of integrity, judgment and follow through.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
