
Senior Manager, Net Zero CoE

- Drive the direction of Univers' carbon management related software products towards market leading position by enhancing the features based on new regional and international regulations
- Develop and maintain roadmap and strategy for the Centre of Excellence (CoE) to ensure Univers' technology advantage
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and product, to design innovative solutions for decarbonization applications, including Digital Carbon passports, Green Hydrogen/Ammonia, LCA, VPPA, Carbon credits
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and market needs related to digital battery solutions
- Lead the development of prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate ideas and ensure alignment with the product/solution roadmap
- Able to have deep and meaningful conversations with the clients based on your in-depth knowledge of Net Zero strategies and roadmaps of execution
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on carbon reduction strategies, emissions reporting, and sustainability initiatives
- Develop and implement strategies to capture customer demand in the market by working hand in hand with Sales and GTM colleagues
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships within the Net Zero space
- Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of experts in carbon accounting, carbon offsetting, renewable energy, and related fields
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members to foster a culture of excellence and innovation
- Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and other forums to promote thought leadership in carbon management and sustainability
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical/Environmental or a related field. Masters and above will be a plus
- At least 8+ years of work experience in Carbon Accounting and decarbonization field with strong technical knowledge
- Familiar with Scope 1-3 carbon emission
- Consulting background is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of carbon accounting principles, greenhouse gas emissions quantification methodologies, and carbon offsetting mechanisms
- Proven experience in strategic planning, team management, and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams
- Proven track record of engaging govt funding bodies and stakeholders in CoE management and audits
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is a plus
- Passion for sustainability and decarbonization is preferred
- Have a blend of technical, business and soft skills with excellent commercial acumen
- Team player with a positive working attitude and the ability to handle tight deadlines
- Highly versatile and adaptable to changes, able to work independently in a fast-moving environment, and able to cross multiple functions
