
Senior Finance Executive

- Manage monthly financial close activities including bank reconciliations, forex revaluation, journal postings and balance sheet schedules.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of closing within the N+5 timeline for key entities (SG, EU and US).
- Support the Finance Manager with group consolidation after subsidiary closing.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring timely invoice processing, supplier payments and customer collections for EU and US.
- Prevent backlogs and maintain smooth financial operations.
- Maintain accurate financial records within the ERP system by ensuring transactions are error-free, updated promptly and the system is optimized for efficiency.
- Assist with statutory reporting, GST and tax filings as well as audit requirements.
- Ensure timely submissions and strict adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Partner with the Finance Manager on ad hoc initiatives such as inventory counts, process automation and system enhancements.
- Drive improvements that enhance efficiency and deliver cost savings.
- Work closely with sales, R&D, operations and other teams to ensure accurate financial data flow.
- Act as the point of contact for resolving discrepancies, addressing finance-related inquiries and providing updates on invoices and payments.
- Identify inefficiencies in finance processes and recommend improvements while implementing best practices to streamline workflows and strengthen operations.
- Enforce company financial policies and procedures consistently.
- Maintain strong internal controls, uphold ethical standards and ensure full compliance in all financial activities.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and basic tax regulations.
- Practical experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, or other accounting software.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Over 4 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, including full set of General Ledger responsibilities.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector, cross-border operations (particularly EU and US markets), or knowledge of group consolidation is a plus.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy, especially when managing large volumes of transactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments both on-site and remotely.
- Proactive problem-solving approach, taking initiative to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality work.
- Understanding of internal control principles and commitment to uphold company policies.
