- Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders including technology companies, start-ups, government agencies, and professional organisations.
- Develop and execute strategies to establish partnerships that align with the goals and objectives of the polytechnic and school.
- Facilitate collaborative projects between the polytechnic and industry partners for staff and students.
- Work closely with industry partners to provide job shadowing and internship opportunities for students, ensuring that they gain practical experience and exposure to real-world IT projects and experience.
- Liaise with industry recruiters to facilitate employment opportunities for graduates, matching them to suitable job roles within the industry.
- Lead a team to plan and organise industry-relevant workshops and events in alignment with the polytechnic's programmes and industry needs.
- Work with departments and course teams to evaluate the efficacy of the polytechnic's programmes in preparing students for the workforce, and conduct analysis on current skills trends and industry demand to identify areas of alignment and strategies to secure career opportunities for students.
- Foster communication and collaboration between academic staff, students, and industry stakeholders to enhance the overall relevance and effectiveness of the polytechnic's educational programmes.
- Support teaching and learning responsibilities within the School.
- Relevant qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information/Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in industry partnership relate work in the Education sector
- Possesses initiative and keen interest in building strong industry partnerships.
- Possesses strong communication and analytical skills to engage with industry.
- Able to work independently as well as manage a team of staff.
- Has good organisationals skills to meet strategic objectives.
