This includes shaping national manpower polices and strategies, developing a conducive education and capability development ecosystem, creating tools and initiatives to enable Singaporeans to seize good job opportunities, access to complementary global talent and build an industry-ready workforce.What you will be working on:Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Partner, advise and co-develop industry/firm-level solutions with EDB's industry groups to address talent and capability development interests and/or needs.Engage and work closely with other government agencies and education institutions on policies and initiatives to ensure the local workforce remain industry relevant. This involves analysis of training needs, course structures etc.Manage and review talent attraction and development products, such as training grants. This involves development of guidelines, advisory on use of product, and review through engagement with stakeholders, analysis of utilisation etc.Analyse workforce data, so as to facilitate industry talent and capability development efforts.What we are looking for:To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be:A degree in any disciplineIndependent, inquisitive, open-minded and resourcefulA strategic thinker with strong analytical abilityGood language and writing skillsFamiliarity and interest in the areas of education, training and human capital development would be advantageousExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and manage internal and external stakeholders across senioritySingaporeanApplications are screened on a rolling basis and applicants may expect to receive an application outcome within 8 weeks of application date.About Economic Development Board:EDB is the lead government agency responsible for planning & executing strategies to enhance Singapore's position as a global business centre and grow the Singapore Economy.
