- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the wine sector (core focus) and spirits, through outreach to potential customers, referrals, and retail engagement. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate and close contracts that meet profitability targets.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to design strategies that increase revenue and expand market presence.
- Handle client inquiries, ensuring timely responses and effective solutions.
- Manage and maintain existing accounts, ensuring contract renewals and long-term customer retention.
- Provide accurate quotations for new services and oversee after-sales support.
- Foster close collaboration with market customers to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Monitor client satisfaction and resolve issues promptly to maintain a high level of trust and service quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Business development. Account management, preferably within Logistics, duty free or wine and beverage industry.
- Proven track record in managing client portfolios, securing renewals, and driving revenue growth.
- Strong knowledge of wine logistics, licensed warehouses, and duty-free products; understanding of tobacco supply chains will be a significant advantage.
- Established industry network in wine or beverage logistics preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Multilingual proficiency is highly advantageous.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about the wine and beverage industry.
