The OpportunityWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data & Digital Intern to join our team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data engineering, data science, business requirements gathering and solving problems of varying complexity. The Data and Digital team are focused on driving AI adoption and data maturity in our business unit by engaging with stakeholders to identify and solve their most pressing problems. You will be supporting the delivery of end-to-end data pipelines that feed BI, Data Engineering and Data Science projects to enhance generation of actionable insights.Duration: Full-time internship (4 -6 months)Your RoleAs a Data & Digital Intern your main responsibilities will involve:
  • Lead discussion with the business stakeholders to better define the problem and identify and design the most suitable solution Deliver solutions using the latest techniques in data modelling, ETL, data visualization and more to extract insight from structured and unstructured data
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of data initiatives to improve customer engagement, business processes, decision making and product enhancements
  • Analyze and review complex data from multiple internal and external sources to make informed, authoritative technical/professional recommendations to improve business performance in the medium and longer term.
Your Skills and ExperienceYour skills and qualifications will ideally include:
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field.
  • Familiarity with SQL Databases, Data Modelling, Data Visualization tools and platforms
  • Past data projects delivered are a plus
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Experience in managing structured and unstructured data
  • Basic knowledge of Data Science, LLMs, AI Agents
  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud and Power BI is a plus
  • Proficiency in Python and knowledge of programming best practices
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
