You will be part of the team to use data and generate insights to solve business questions. You will work closely with business users to understand their business needs and use data from both internal and external sources to address business questions. Business users will take on the transformed data and derive insights for decision making.ResponsibilitiesAssist in building, testing, and supporting of data pipelines on CapitaLand’s Enterprise Data Platform (EDP)Support data processing tasks for various business use cases across the organizationAssist in preparing and organizing datasets to support internal and business stakeholdersHelp with documentation, data quality checks, and other ad-hoc tasks as assignedRequirementsPursuing a diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Big Data or a related fieldBasic understanding of Python or Java, with hands-on experience applying object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts through academic or internships projectsWillingness to learn and explore new tools and technologies related to data engineering and analytics infrastructureGood communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitudeFamiliar with SQL (e.g. Spark SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) will be an advantageExposure to cloud-based data engineering platforms and big data tools, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Spark, or Hive (a plus, but not required)Closing Statement:At CapitaLand, we advocate fair employment practices, and recruit talents based on merit and fit with our Corporate values.
