
Senior/Commercial Manager

- Provide Commercial Management support for large, complex, and high-risk projects and opportunities during pre- and post-sales stages, including those exceeding SGD 10 million in total contract value.
- Draft, review, and negotiate key project documents such as statements of work, change orders, and variation agreements.
- Support project teams in client and subcontractor meetings on contractual matters and act as an escalation point for project-related issues.
- Strategize with company executives before client negotiations and support project teams during negotiations to represent the company's interests.
- Monitor contract fulfilment and ensure project budgets, payment terms, and margins are maintained.
- Stay informed of relevant developments affecting the company, clients, and industries, and integrate insights into company practices
- Proactively identify contractual risks, issues, and potential disputes, and propose effective and value-added solutions to project teams.
- Counsel senior executives on risk management based on contract analysis and opportunity scope review.
- Evaluate and implement commercial management tools to improve efficiency in areas such as Contract Awareness, Risk Management, Change Control, Deliverables Management, Issues Management, Disputes Management, Subcontract Management, Intellectual Property Management, Contract Communications Management, and Contract Documentation Management.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and escalate risks or critical delivery issues to appropriate stakeholders
- Develop and maintain commercial policies, templates, toolkits, and processes to support project delivery.
- Conduct training for project teams on commercial and risk management practices.
- Foster strong collaboration between Commercial Management and project teams.
- Support cross-functional and departmental initiatives aligned with company objectives
- Minimum 8 years in contract management within the IT or related industries.
- Legal knowledge is an added advantage
- Demonstrated business and commercial acumen with a proven ability to drive successful outcomes.
- Proven experience in engaging and managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.

- (Good to have) Familiarity with project management methodologies, particularly for IT-related projects.
- Law degree and/or significant contract management experience.
