- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the long-term vision strategy, aligning technology development with business goals.
- Vision System Development: Oversee the full lifecycle of industrial vision solutions, from concept through deployment and maintenance.
- Customer-Centric Design: Translate end-user requirements into practical and scalable vision applications.
- System Integration: Combine hardware (cameras, optics, lighting) and software (algorithms, interfaces) into cohesive, high-performing systems.
- AI & Machine Learning: Guide the application of both rule-based and machine-learning-driven vision algorithms.
- Image Data Management: Establish and expand image data sets that serve as the foundation for advanced algorithm development.
- Full Stack Vision Expertise: Demonstrate mastery from physics-based image formation to software implementation using coding standards.
- Project Leadership: Lead internal teams and manage external partnerships with engineering vendors and institutions.
- Innovation & Ecosystem Engagement: Maintain a strong professional network and collaborate with academic and research institutions to stay at the forefront of vision technology.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying industrial vision systems, ideally in semiconductor equipment or similar precision environments.
- Proficient in Python, C++, OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or related frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of machine vision architecture, including lighting, optics, camera systems, and algorithm development.
- Strong understanding of both traditional rule-based vision algorithms and AI/machine learning techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-border teams and collaborate with external engineering firms.
- Ability to quickly grasp semiconductor manufacturing processes and translate needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and leadership skills.
- Active network in the AI, vision, and academic R&D ecosystems is a strong advantage.
