My client specialises in the design, construction, and management of state-of-the-art data facilities. Our mission is to empower businesses with reliable, efficient, and scalable infrastructure to support their digital operations.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the evaluation and selection of suitable sites for construction, considering factors such as accessibility, zoning regulations, environmental impact, and geological conditions.
- Oversee the design and development of site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, roads, parking areas, and other civil infrastructure elements.
- Collaborate with architectural designers and consultants to develop innovative and functional building designs that meet the unique requirements of the project
- Manage all phases of civil and architectural engineering projects, from conceptual design to construction documentation and permitting, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, zoning ordinances, environmental regulations, and other legal requirements governing the design and construction of data centre facilities.
- Work closely with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to coordinate civil and architectural design efforts with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity and reliability of civil and architectural designs, and develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with site development and construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering and/or architectural design, with a focus on commercial or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including site development, grading, drainage, and utility design.
- Knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and zoning regulations.
