[What the role is] We are seeking a proactive, tech-savvy professional to join our team to support integrated operations across the School of Business.[What you will be working on]Technical Support & Systems Administration
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and academic software and IT equipment.
  • Offer user support, including software installation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Administer SaaS platforms and manage user access and systems permissions.
  • Liaise with vendors for system support, upgrades, and service delivery.
Process Improvements and Digitalisation
  • Identify opportunities and support initiatives for workflow automation and digital transformation using tools like Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, or equivalent.
  • Assist in the development of dashboards using data visualisation tools.
  • Assess and propose improvements to processes for greater efficiency.
Admissions & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Coordinate and manage administrative tasks for the Early Admissions Exercise (EAE), including communication with students and parents.
  • Liaise with academic staff and departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of EAE applications.
  • Be proficient in managing SaaS systems used in admissions workflows.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Participate in school-wide or polytechnic-wide initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  • Support institutional goals by working collaboratively with other teams, departments, and external stakeholders.
[What we are looking for]
  • Qualification in any discipline with at least 3 years of working experience.
  • Proficiency in digital tools, such as SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Power Automate and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms used in education or operations, preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including students.
  • Analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, capable of juggling multiple tasks and timelines effectively.
  • Comfortable working both independently and in teams.
