- Review the parameters and assumptions used in manpower demand-supply projections and identify potential gaps or opportunities to better meet sector manpower needs. • Collaborate with Institutes of Higher Learning, social service agencies and other public sector organisations to ensure sufficiency of pre-employment and continuing education and training pipelines. • Assess manpower implications of new or updated services, including staffing ratios and competency requirements. • Develop strategies to enable sector manpower optimisation in areas such as alternative manpower models and job redesign.
- Academic background in a related discipline, with interest in the social sector. • Good understanding of Singapore's social service sector/ landscape would be an advantage. • Creative, analytical, resourceful and highly motivated. • Strong data analysis, systems-thinking, and policy development skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable working with people of all levels and able to build good collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Effective team player with good team and project management skills • Ability to translate policy considerations into implementation, balancing strategic policy objectives with practical ground realities.
