Equipment & Systems Management
  • Oversee technical operations for medical, recovery, and fitness equipment (e.g., cryo chambers, oxygen pods, POS systems).
  • Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed (e.g., monthly sauna inspections, weekly gym equipment checks).
  • Troubleshoot IoT and smart-device integrations (wearables, booking apps, HVAC automation).
2. Compliance & Safety
  • Maintain MOH/HSA compliance for medical devices (e.g., calibration logs for machines).
  • Ensure PDPA compliance for guest data stored in wellness apps/CRM systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments for high-tech recovery equipment (e.g., oxygen chamber safety protocols).
3. Vendor & Budget Management
  • Negotiate contracts with OEM suppliers (e.g., TheraCryo for cryo maintenance).
  • Manage annual technical budget for repairs, upgrades, and software licenses.
  • Source Singapore-based vendors for urgent repairs (e.g., POS system downtime).
4. Staff Training & Support
  • Train front desk staff on basic troubleshooting (e.g., resetting booking tablets).
  • Certify therapists/nurses on medical device usage (e.g., proper sterilization of equipment).
  • Develop emergency protocols for tech failures (e.g., backup generators for cryo units).
5. Innovation & Upgrades
  • Research and recommend new wellness tech (e.g., red light therapy beds, AI fitness coaches).
  • Lead digital transformation projects (e.g., integrating Mindbody with PayNow/NETS).
RequirementsSingapore-Specific Requirements
  • Regulatory Knowledge:
  • MOH guidelines for medical devices.
  • IMDA standards for Wi-Fi/data security.
  • SCDF fire safety for electrical equipment.
  • Local Vendor Network:
  • Preferred partnerships with Singapore-based IT/equipment providers.
