- Develop, communicate, and meet sales goals and OEM targets while promoting a comprehensive product range, including hot runner systems, sensors, controllers, and molds.
- Lead efforts to achieve sales targets by leveraging the full product portfolio and driving team performance.
- Create and oversee a high-performing regional sales and service team to support business objectives.
- Design and implement strategic plans for products, markets, pricing, value-based selling, and service offerings.
- Generate and update sales forecasts, including new business, bookings, proposals, and investment needs. Work with cross-functional teams to advance proposals and projects, and deliver regular internal reports on actual vs. forecasted orders and sales.
- Build and sustain strong customer relationships to foster business growth, profitability, and tailored solutions for clients.
- Craft marketing strategies, sales plans, and service initiatives to identify and seize market opportunities. Supervise sales activities to meet business commitments in designated markets.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of expanding into new industry sectors or regions.
- Recruit, train, and guide a results-driven sales team to enhance sales and business growth.
- Collaborate with marketing and support teams to align strategies and achieve sales goals across new and existing markets.
- Coordinate with support teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products, services, and services, maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Personally manage relationships with major clients, selling the full range of Molding Solutions products to meet market sales and profitability targets.
- Negotiate favorable terms for products and services, adhering to company policies and goals.
- Fulfill responsibilities assigned by leadership in line with company values and ethical standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Sales Management, or a related discipline.
- Advanced degree or professional certifications would be advantageous.
- Over 10 years of progressive sales or commercial experience in the injection molding industry, specifically in medical, packaging, automotive, and electronics sectors, with a minimum of 10 years leading high-performing regional sales and service teams of 30+ members.
- Experience in business transformation is an advantage.
- Preferably with sales experience in hot runner systems and injection molds.
- Ability to interpret customer needs accurately (written or verbal), technical specifications, and inquiries.
- Expertise in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), account management, and sales pipeline oversight.
- Strong business insight with the ability to communicate value propositions and comprehensive solutions to new and existing clients.
- Advanced analytical abilities to derive insights, provide recommendations, and influence decisions using data.
- Capability to evaluate customer challenges and offer customized application and solution recommendations.
- Exceptional skills in negotiation, persuasion, strategic planning, and execution of growth initiatives.
