- Develop marketing strategies in alignment with long term business/portfolio plan, including 5-year portfolio strategic plan, future product development, new product commercialization plan and portfolio lifecycle management.
- Establish and lead strategic marketing initiatives that accelerate portfolio adoption and drive business growth.
- Compile, analyze, and evaluate insights across APAC markets’ portfolio requirements and identify priority growth opportunities.
- Interface, partner with and influence Division NPD teams to ensure APAC requirements and launch cadence are incorporated in the NPD process.
- Interface, partner with and influence in-country commercial and marketing teams across APAC to determine a winning portfolio for APAC, including identifying priority portfolio/products opportunities, accelerating speed to market and enhancing in-country commercialization efforts.
- Lead and coordinate between Division and in-country marketing teams to ensure new product launch resources (knowledge, technology expertise, etc.) are transferable and scalable.
- This is a position that contributes and achieves results through others who are not direct reports.
- This role requires a comprehensive understanding of marketing concepts (Big Picture Framework preferred) and strong ability to evaluate market insights, business case and financials.
- In addition, the requirement for broader knowledge includes the need to understand other concepts, principles, processes in context across functions such Regulatory, Supply Chain, Operations, Technical Services, Clinical teams to resolve issues that have an impact beyond the scope of marketing.
- This job requires a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 8 or more years’ experience in marketing and sales within the Medical Device segment.

- Develop and drive adoption of the Instruments marketing strategy in alignment with long term business/portfolio plan, future product pipeline, and product lifecycle management.
- Identify growth opportunities across complex and diverse market landscapes.
- Establish and lead market adoption initiatives in the interest of accelerating adoption and gaining share in key segments of the portfolios.
- Accelerate new product speed to market and enhance commercialization planning efforts for future new product launches.
- Collaborate closely with the Division to ensure APAC inputs, such as product VOC, regulatory and/or clinical requirements for a successful market launch, are included in the New Product Development process.
- Partner closely with in-country marketing and sales teams to plan and execute the strategy and commercialization plans necessary to grow the portfolios across APAC.
- Develop long-term business plan/portfolio including required investments, resources and timelines along with sales and market share targets.
- Develop commercialization/launch plans as well as ensure post market support and resources required including coordination with Regulatory, Supply Chain, Operations, Technical Services, Clinical teams.
- Collaborate with Division, and lead as the point of contact between APAC markets and the Division to ensure availability and dissemination of communication, product knowledge and technology expertise are transferred and scalable.
- Coordinate surgeon training and education programs to ensure effective training and launch of the priority products.
- Coordinate and manage regional KOL program including education and training programs, connection and engagement with R&D teams, ensuring Stryker compliance protocols are met.
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in Medical Devices with a proven track record.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and plan tactically.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and work in complex markets and procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines.
- Ability to be persuasive and influence in the absence of organizational authority.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, & Word)
