Develop and implement comprehensive category management strategies to enhance product offerings and maximize value.Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within assigned categories.Supplier Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with quality and delivery standards.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, operations, and finance, to align category strategies with overall business objectives.Performance Monitoring:
Track and analyze category performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.Budget Management:
Manage budgets related to assigned categories, ensuring effective cost control and maximizing return on investment.Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities, ensuring that category strategies meet organizational requirements.QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.Experience:
5+ years of experience in category management, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the maritime or logistics sector.Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in data analysis and market research.Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.Negotiation Skills:
