As an Infrastructure Operations & Support Specialist, you will combine hands-on technical expertise with team coordination responsibilities, while guiding a team of Cybersecurity Operation Engineers (COEs) in implementing and maintaining MAS's security infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical guidanceLead and Guide a team of Cybersecurity Operation Engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure security systemsDevelop and review security architectures, incorporating 'Security by Design' principles throughout the system development lifecycleDesign and implement security systems that align with organisational policies and industry best practicesLead technical incident response and provide escalation supportAnalyse and recommend mitigation strategies for cybersecurity risks in both cloud and on-premise environmentsSecurity ManagementSupport cybersecurity risk assessments and audits to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities by providing the necessary evidence(s)Deliver cybersecurity projects, including stakeholder engagement, feasibility studies, and effectiveness monitoringTransform business requirements into technical solutions, with a focus on security objectives and functional requirementsEnsure the various security systems are deployed to the endpoints(servers/workstations) and the security systems itself are being monitored closely for any service failureTeam DevelopmentSupport team members by sharing technical expertise, offering guidance in security operations, and promoting continuous learning through collaboration and problem-solvingDrive innovative solutions while maintaining meticulous planning and implementation standardsFoster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team[What we are looking for]Technical ExpertiseMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operationsStrong knowledge of cloud security concepts for the major Cloud Service Provider(CSP), services, and tools (e.g., IAM, CASB)Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standardsProven experience in conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and auditsProficiency in security system architecture design and reviewPractical experience with security monitoring tools and incident responseUnderstanding of Government IM8 policy would be added advantageProfessional AttributesPrior experience in guiding or coordinating technical team while demonstrating strong self-initiative and a solutions-oriented “can do” mindsetPersistent and focused executor with a track record of overcoming complex challenges and turning ideas into impactful solutionsTrack record of successful security project deliveryQuick to adapt and thrive in unfamiliar projects with minimal prior knowledge, driven by a proactive and principled approach to new challengesDemonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders across all organizational levels, from technical teams to senior managementPersonal AttributesAbility to balance technical work with team coordinationStrong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levelsDetail-oriented with excellent documentation skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyProactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvementAs part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.This contract is a 2-year contract.
