Job Description:The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on automatically simulating user inputs to Android applications, and interacting with Android AOSP, Android kernel, and existing Android app analyzers. The candidate is expected to apply machine learning techniques for the project. Successful candidate will be part of an active research team led by Profs Gao Debin, David Lo, and Pang Guansong from School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University.
  • To design, implement, and evaluate a system that uses machine learning techniques to simulate user inputs to Android applications automatically.
  • To modify and improve existing systems that perform analysis on Android applications.
  • To modify Android AOSP and kernel to introduce new security mechanism.
  • To write research reports and papers on the results.
  • To collaborate with other team members on related tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
