For more information about PwC’s International Growth Practice, please visit our website: www.pwc.com/internationalgrowthWe are looking for candidates who can join us from July 2024.The International Growth Consulting Programme:The International Growth Consulting Programme (IGCP) is a unique opportunity for internationally curious graduates and/or young professionals to accelerate their career in strategy consulting by joining us as a full-time Associate, based in Singapore with work pass sponsorship.The IGCP is designed to introduce participants to the core fundamentals of international strategy consulting from day 1, by being staffed on a variety of challenging client projects across multiple industries and geographies, with the opportunity for rapid career progression for those demonstrably motivated and capable of pursuing a career in consulting.Our tailored programme is dedicated and designed for aspirational individuals seeking hands-on consulting experience accompanied with a blend of classroom training.Our Associates will:Undertake a series of pre-boarding activities with the International Growth team prior to joining to support a smooth transition into the team towards the first week’s activitiesBenefit from two weeks of training specific to the International Growth team, which will prepare candidates for the type of work the team specialises inHave a dedicated buddy to guide a participant through the more informal and practical aspects of working in a Professional Services firmBe allocated a long-term coach from within the International Growth team to provide career advice and ongoing mentoring throughout the entire programmeContribute to complex client projects with Fortune 500 companies on a rotational basis across industries and geographies, and will specifically - 1. Participate in assignments involving market assessment, market entry / expansion and footprint realignment strategies 2. Conduct research and strategic analysis to develop market, industry, and consumer insights 3. Gain exposure to proposal development & business development activities 4. Support market-leading thought leadership publications for both clients and PwCHigh-performing Associates are expected to progress quickly and will have the opportunity for rapid career advancement subject to performance.Who should apply:
  • The IGCP is designed for candidates who
  • (1) are graduates with 1-2 years’ work experience (internships included) and;
  • (2) have a strong inclination towards strategy and business consulting
  • Successful candidates should be available to join our team from 1 July 2024.
Key Requirements:Postgraduate degree (e.g. MBA / Masters) or high performing undergraduate honours degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Political Science, Law, International Relations, or similar subject from a leading universityPrior work and / or internship experience of 1-2 years, preferably in strategy, consulting, business intelligence, analytics, or a related fieldDemonstrable interest in international markets, with previous exposure to relevant sectors or specific geographiesAnalytical and logical approach to data analysis and able to generate points-of-views on international markets, industry trends, consumer segments, etc.Positive, can-do attitude and motivated to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentFluency in English (both written and spoken)Fluency in selected foreign languages would be an added benefit (e.g. Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish, French, Bahasa Indonesia, Korean, German, etc.)Existing knowledge, understanding or interest in one or a few selected industries would be beneficial.
