- The Construction Lifting Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of all lifting activities on construction sites. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of heavy materials, equipment and module, and for maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- You are responsible to ensure all lifting operations adhere to OSHA and other relevant HSSE regulations.
- You supervise the implementation of lifting plans and procedures, including reviewing the construction yard heavy lifting plans and conduct regular HSSE audits and inspections of lifting equipment, ensuring equipment is regularly serviced and inspected to maintain safety and performance standards.
- You coordinate lifting activities with project teams, engineers, and other construction personnel to ensure seamless workflow.
- You deliver training to operators and construction workers on safe lifting practices and equipment operation.
- You conduct risk assessments for all lifting operations to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
- You act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to lifting operations.
- At least a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
- Knowledge and experience in Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) is required.
- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role, with strong understanding of construction & commissioning management processes in the relevant discipline.
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and technical documents
