Equipment Planning Assistant

• Support the planning and daily deployment of port equipment such as quay cranes, yard cranes, prime movers, and trailers.

• Track real-time availability and condition of handling equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

• Liaise with terminal, yard, and maintenance teams to ensure timely equipment allocation and operational readiness.

• Maintain accurate records of equipment deployment using terminal operating systems (TOS) and other digital tools.

• Assist in the development of equipment utilization plans based on vessel schedules, yard configurations, and cargo volumes.

• Monitor operational progress and highlight any equipment-related issues that could impact productivity or turnaround times.

• Prepare daily and weekly reports on equipment usage, productivity metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Document and update shift handover notes and communication logs for smooth information flow across shifts.

• Participate in contingency planning for equipment failure, peak periods, and adverse weather conditions.

• Follow and promote adherence to all safety protocols and operational guidelines related to equipment use and movement.

• At least a GCE N/O Level

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
