
Equipment Planning Assistant (Quality Management)

- Assist in planning and scheduling of port handling equipment (e.g., quay cranes, yard cranes, vehicles) to ensure optimal allocation and utilization.
- Ensure that all equipment-related operations comply with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, SS standards).
- Gather and analyze performance and maintenance data of equipment to identify quality trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance team to schedule inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs with minimal operational disruption.
- Assist in the implementation of quality improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and support sustainability goals.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance history, and quality audits using digital asset management systems.
- Prepare reports and documentation for audits, internal reviews, and management updates on equipment performance and compliance.
- Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights related to equipment quality and planning.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to communicate planning changes, quality issues, and mitigation measures.
- Promote a culture of safety and risk awareness in equipment handling and ensure adherence to workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations.
- NITEC or minimum 3 ‘O’ level credits\
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word
