- Assist Director in overseeing and managing the project, which encompasses the procurement, design development, consultancy and contracts management, commissioning and project handover to end User.
- Liaise with end User on project requirements and coordinate on the interfacing aspects of the project with other developments.
- Develop the project brief and requirements for the construction contracts.
- Administer the construction procurement process to ensure compliance with SUSS's procurement policy for construction works and services and financial procedures.
- Project lead and manage the development works to ensure that the project is delivered within timeline and budget, meeting safety and quality standards and achieving desired outcomes.
- Identify project interface issues and coordinate between stakeholders to develop solutions and implement mitigating measures.
- Attend consultant and site meetings with the Project Team and ensure that contractual requirements are carried out on time and within budget.
- Meet financial objectives of the project by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budget, scheduling expenditures, reporting budget and cashflow updates, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.
- Coordinate between key stakeholders for project alignment and fund transfers.
- Undertake any other tasks or responsibilities as required by Management in the course of work.
- University with at least 20 years of relevant working experience as Project Manager preferably in public/developer organisations or consulting firms.
- Relevant experience in leading and managing development projects.
- Knowledge of public sector procurement framework and regulatory requirements.
- Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills and positive working attitude.
- Good writing, communication and presentation skills.
- Meticulous and capable of working independently to resolve issues and challenges.
- Good time management and work well under pressure.
- Good leader and team player.
- Conversant with various applications such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
