What the role is:[What the role is]MANAGER/DEPUTY MANAGER, WORKFORCE PLANNING[What you will be working on]The Human Resource (HR) Group supports LTA's purpose of delivering a people-centric land transport system, and delivers future-ready solutions based on organizational needs. Workforce planning is a big part of strategic HR.We are looking for a suitable candidate for the Workforce Planning Division. This role enables the individual to gain a good understanding of land transport manpower requirements. It provides the opportunity to prepare workforce strategies for both mid- and long-term, and map them to the Whole-of-Government and LTA's business objectives, and to influence and persuade others to shape a lean and agile workforce.Key responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with LTA Groups to forecast manpower requirements in line with their priority areas and business plans. This requires identification of trends and key issues, and the use of forecasting analytics and/or manpower models to align workload and manpower requirements.
  • Analyse the capacity and competency gaps between workforce demand and supply, implement solutions to bridge gaps, monitor progress against milestones, and re-evaluate plans to course-correct based on developments.
  • Review, administer and maintain long-term manpower forecasts, and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Partner LTA Groups to put up manpower proposals for new growth areas. This includes objective and holistic evaluation such as having the ability to foresee downstream impact in other divisions, challenge status quo and push for right-sized proposals for both headcounts and budget.
[What are we looking for]
  • Tertiary qualification in any discipline, preferably with experience in HR or corporate strategy/ planning
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, able to handle multiple projects at the same time and work under pressure
  • Proficient in data analysis; able to think logically and critically. Systems thinking and knowledge of organization design is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and visualization skills; able to meaningfully engage diverse stakeholders, effectively present ideas and data
