For more information, visit .Introduction:You are the lead manager in charge in ensuring the operational-business success of our China initiative, working alongside key stakeholders within the organization.You will be the program lead representing Fab leadership relating to our China initiative and the key interface to the workstream leads to ensure all aspects leading to customer ramp are taken care of in timely manner. You will also work very closely with the product line and commercial team to ensure the right technology/customer engagements for our China initiative towards the company’s objectives.This entails strong communication and persuasion skills, a keen understanding of semiconductor technology and Fab, an ability to piece things together with a strong business acumen and be proactive to drive successful outcomes. You will need to be comfortable working with middle and senior management on a regular basis, be able to identify what is the problem to solved in a concise manner and provide effective solutions in cross functional environment.Your Job:Advisor and solution provider to Fab GM and manufacturing leadership in ensuring the operational-business success of our China initiative.Program lead representing Fab leadership for the China initiative, acting as the key interface to internal workstream leads to ensure all critical elements for customer ramp are addressed in a timely and effective manner.Advocate to product line and commercial teams to align customer engagements and technology strategy with the company’s objectives for China, ensuring the right mix of customers and technologies for long-term success.Champion Fab perspective and influence outcomes across business and operational teams to secure the right customer engagements, technology corridors, and financial metrics for the China initiative.Support key customer deals, business cases, and technology transfers with a mid- to long-term view, especially those that are critical to the success of the China initiative but may not be prioritized by other organizations.Ensure contractual terms and commitments related to the China initiative are appropriately negotiated and captured, working closely with legal and commercial teams to ensure the right outcomesSupport analysis of new customer engagements in terms of manufacturing suitability, capacity planning, and business case development, in collaboration with Fab and business functions.Drive outcomes including internal contract reviews, customer negotiations, risk management, technology migration strategies, and end-of-life planning for China-related engagements.Create, maintain, and enhance synergy between product groups, sales, and Fab leadership through structured interlocks, joint initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.Identify and scale best practices within other manufacturing locations across Singapore, Dresden, and the US, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and global alignment.Required Qualifications:PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in a leadership or program management role, with a strong focus on cross-functional business operations within a global organization.A minimum of 10 years of experience in the semiconductor foundry, fabless IC, integrated device manufacturer (“IDM”) or relevant related high technology industry.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills, with the ability to effectively influence outcomes across diverse teams and management levels.Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities, including experience in developing business cases, analyzing new engagements, and managing contractual terms.Demonstrated ability to be proactive and a solution provider, identifying problems and driving effective, timely solutions in a complex, high-stakes environment.Experience working with and presenting to middle and senior management.Familiarity with global manufacturing best practices and the ability to foster collaboration and synergy across different geographic locations.Some travel requiredGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
