RELOCATION TERMS: LOCAL TERMSBUSINESS CONTEXT:This position entails working on one of Unilever’s most iconic global brands. Pond’s is the largest facecare brand within Unilever, with a strong footprint and leading market position in many Developing & Emerging markets.We are looking for highly motivated, experienced and capable Global Assistant Brand Development Manager (ABM) to support Pond’s innovation platform to unlock new business growth model. This is a global role that is based in Singapore.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:Reporting to Pond’s Brand Manager, this role will play a crucial role in:
- Crafting Pond’s key big bets of disruptive innovation to unlock new business model for emerging markets– including concept & claims, product & packaging development and communications, ensuring relevance of the mixes
- Coordinating Pond’s cross-functional team – including R&D, Finance, Supply Chain, R&D, CMI, regulatory / claims.
- Partnering with POND’s key markets globally to align project in 12Q Plan and drive the brand overall growth ambition
- Project Team: Cross functional team such as R&D, CMI, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement
- Agencies and local marketing teams in each country
- Key senior stakeholders across organization
- Innate, genuine passion for beauty, with a keen eye for beauty.
- Trend Awareness: Staying abreast of cultures and emerging trends, platforms, and best practices within the beauty industry.
- Passion for consumers, putting them at the heart of all strategy and execution.
- Strong brand development skills (i.e. brand positioning/equity, concept development, project leadership, communication development, eye for beauty)
- Global brand/mix development with experience at interfacing with countries and driving execution.
- Strong bias for action with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Problem-solving, can-do mindset, being bold in thoughts and brave in action
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in Skincare/Beauty will be an added advantage
- Experience in new communication & business models i.e. Social first, E-commerce (Cross-border) & D2C.
