Purpose of the RoleThis role is part of a regional leadership team responsible for supporting portfolio companies across Asia-Pacific. The position focuses on creating cross-regional synergies, facilitating knowledge transfer, coordinating best practices, and supporting Asset Managers in delivering operational and financial objectives.It represents an opportunity to play a pivotal role within a growing asset management function, with emphasis on analysis, problem-solving, and project management. The role provides exposure to a wide range of management areas, including strategy execution, financial oversight, operational improvement, and organizational development.Success requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, think holistically across regions, and collaborate closely with business leaders and colleagues in asset management.Key ResponsibilitiesPortfolio Oversight & SupportConsolidate financial and operational analysis across portfolio companies to provide insights that drive decision-making.Identify and share best practices across regional businesses to maximize value creation.Coordinate annual planning and forecasting processes across the region.Review and monitor performance improvement initiatives, supporting leadership teams in execution.Prepare reports and analysis on portfolio company performance against strategic and financial targets.Support the design and execution of exit strategies, including capital market transactions, mergers, or sales.Investment SupportPartner with deal teams to contribute to due diligence on new investment opportunities.Participate in operational and financial reviews, including site visits, to validate assumptions and identify value creation opportunities.Assess organizational structures and human capital issues during investment review.Assist in preparing business plans and materials for investment decision-making.Contribute to onboarding strategies and transition plans for newly acquired businesses.Onboarding & Special ProjectsManage cross-functional projects with clear communication and reporting standards.Support compliance, governance, and organizational initiatives across portfolio companies.Contribute to HR-related matters such as organizational design and compensation alignment.Provide hands-on support to portfolio companies when needed, including temporary secondments to drive business outcomes.Qualifications & Experience8+ years of experience in management consulting, asset management, restructuring, project management, or related fields.Strong analytical skills, with high proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Proven experience conducting due diligence and identifying performance improvement opportunities.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage across senior levels.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure with shifting priorities.Demonstrated ability to make sound business judgments and handle complex issues.Comfortable working in diverse environments, from operational sites to corporate settings.Willingness to travel across regional offices and portfolio companies.
