What the role is:The AI Office is MAS' central coordinating unit to steer the strategic, responsible and effective adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the Authority. We are looking for a forward-thinking individual to join the team as AI Capability Development Manager.What you will be working on:In this role, your primary responsibilities will be to:Drive AI adoption strategy and implementation across the organisation, working closely with business and technical teams to identify and develop AI augmented processes, focusing on translating AI capabilities and limitations workable solutions.Develop and execute AI literacy programmes for different staff segments, from basic awareness to advanced understanding.Contribute to the development of AI governance frameworks and ethical guidelines that balance innovation with responsible use.Build and maintain relationships with AI solution providers, research institutions, and internal stakeholders to facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration.Create and maintain documentation on AI best practices, use cases, and lessons learned.Organise AI-focused events, workshops, and sharing sessions to promote knowledge sharing and build internal capabilities.Conduct proof-of-concept work on emerging AI trends and developments to provide strategic recommendations on potential applications within MAS.What we are looking for:Degree in Technology, Business, or related field with strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals. No experience is required.Enthusiasm for AI and its applications within MAS and wider financial services sector.Experience in technology adoption programmes or digital transformation initiatives.Strong interest in AI governance and ethical considerations.Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Able to work independently and drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.This is a 2-year contract.
