Responsibilities
  • As part of vessel IT team, you will provide day-to-day onsite and remote support to ships on IT, Satellite communication, networking, hardware and software related problems
  • Comfortable to travel on sea to vessel’s location for day-to-day IT job
  • Follow up and close all the incidents/ issues/ requests accordingly
  • To assist in Marine IT related projects or activities (such as implementation, upgrades, changes and maintenance)
  • Able to standby after office hour support, if required
RequirementsRequirements
  • Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology
  • At least 2 years of hands-on working experience in IT infrastructure support
  • Working experience in shipping industry will be advantageous but not mandatory
  • Experience in Windows Server and PC O/S, Active Directory and Office 365
  • Familiar with networking concepts and basic troubleshooting & configuration
  • Knowledge on IT security solution
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels of internal and external users
Candidate is required to visit vessels , OT is claimable outside office hours.
