Responsibilities

Provide technical support for IT systems and infrastructure on maritime vessels
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on board
Assist in managing and maintaining satellite communication systems and marine data networks
Participate in the implementation of IT projects and upgrades
Assist in conducting regular maintenance and perform system updates
Provide training and technical support to crew members on IT systems and applications
Assist in implementing security measures to protect vessels from cyber threats
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address IT needs

Requirements

Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field
Experience in providing technical support for IT systems and infrastructure
Knowledge of maritime operations and regulations will be an advantage
Familiarity with satellite communication systems and marine data networks
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team
Willingness to travel and work on maritime vessels as required
