As Assistant Director for IHL engagement, you'll lead transformative initiatives across 14 Institutes of Higher Learning, impacting the health behaviours of youth aged 17-25 years.What you will be working on:ScopeYou will lead the review of the Healthy Campus Initiative, transforming educational spaces into health-promoting environments through strategic placemaking and cross-agency collaboration. This role involves directing cross-matrix teams and driving programme from conception to implementation.Key Responsibilities
(A) Strategic Leadership & Innovation:
- Spearhead account management for Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL)
- Lead cross-matrix teams comprising members from Ministry of Education (MOE), IHL and HPB on developing and implementing health promoting programmes
- Influence school policies to include Healthy Campus Initiative considerations.
- Manage budget utilisation and performance metrics
- Adapt international health models to Singapore context
- Coordinate with IHL leadership on health promotion integration
- Lead capability building programmes
- Establish best practices in service delivery and continuous improvement
- Oversee end-to-end programme implementation
- Develop data-driven strategies
- Build sustainable partnerships
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead ground engagement efforts
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Design or related fields
- Minimum 6 years in public service
- 2+ years leading cross-functional teams
- Track record in stakeholder engagement
- Experience in health promotion or education sector and have a good understanding of the local IHL space (preferred)
