(Senior) Development Partner, Standards (Services)

- Collaborate with industry experts, government agencies, institutes of higher learning, professional bodies, industry associations and other stakeholders to identify and develop national and international standards in trade, logistics, and sustainability.
- Provide Secretariat support to the Trade and Connectivity Standards Committee and its subordinate groups, including gaining buy-in for and developing new standards as well as the review and maintenance of existing standards
- Support Singapore’s representation at trade-related international/regional fora such as the ASEAN Digital Trade Standards and Conformance Working Group (DTSCWG), including defending Singapore’s key interests through coordinating national positions with sector-relevant agencies, and supporting principals’ upcoming participation in capacity of Vice Chair/Chair of DTSCWG
- Stay abreast of international/national developments and emerging issues in sustainability • Build technical expertise in related topics to identify standardisation needs in Singapore and at the global level
- Support representation at national sustainability-related committees
- Coordinate inputs on trade, logistics, and sustainability related initiatives involving Whole-of-Government and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to the setting, development, promotion and adoption of standards in trade, logistics and sustainability sectors
- Strong passion and dedication to advancing Singapore industries through standardisation
- Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and project management skills
- Ability to think critically, work independently, and cultivate strong relationships with partners
- Keen interest in trade, logistics, and sustainability
