College Intern - NPI EngineerDescription -What a College Intern – NPI Engineer does at HP:
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing comprehensive test plans and executing product reliability validation prior to launch.
  • Employ a variety of test equipment and software tools to conduct functional, environmental, and stress testing to ensure conformity to requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve potential issues early in the product lifecycle.
  • Utilize CAD software and other design tools to develop mechanical systems and tooling components that meet performance and quality standards.
  • Analyze end-to-end process efficiency and propose improvements for optimization, leveraging data-driven insights and problem-solving skills.
Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually are:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Able to commit for a 5-6 months full-time internship, starting in May 2026.
  • Data driven with proven analytical thinking & problem-solving capabilities.
  • Able to grasp new technologies and concepts quickly.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, independent & highly motivated.
