Job Title:Manager, Field ApplicationsJob Description:Job Title: Manager, Field ApplicationsJob SummaryThe Manager, Field Applications leads a team responsible for driving sales pipeline conversion with win/loss analysis, the promotion and application of new and existing products into a dynamic and growing industry. Key to this support is participation in the execution of new product development strategies, a thorough understanding of our products, the industries we serve, and our customers. This understanding is used to drive direct communication between the customers, sales, engineering, manufacturing, and other internal departments. Works directly with BU partners to provide timely market intelligence.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Pipeline Oversight. Utilize Entegris’ OMS tool to ensure BU initiatives are supported with adequate pipeline activity and drive countermeasures initiatives in areas deemed necessary.Coordinates with Entegris’ Service Team to provide technical support for application related problems for Entegris products.Generates and/or presents various technical documentation (evaluation reports, analysis, industry studies, Entegris generated data) related to a product or application for a sales or strategic opportunity.Communication and collaboration with Sales management.Drives team to support Account Management team in the execution of BU product strategy in the field for targeted territories and markets to capture new or maintain existing business.Participates in regular meetings with the customers as needed, the internal teams (AM, MTS, Sales, BU) to share customer/Entegris feedback, measure progress, drive a solution and/or enhance communication for product evaluations and application issues.Maintains a high level of market understanding (including competition, application development and products) to give recommendations on current product issues, future product trends and application demands and competitive challenges/opportunities.Drives programs that develop a high level of team technical acumen, intimacy and confidence with both customers and other Entegris employees.Escalation/Problem solving support for the team.Owns special projects as needed in support of BU/Engineering activities.Responsible for employee development for individual team members.Support Customer Change Management by assisting with our Product Change Notification process as needed.Requisite Criteria & SkillsBachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline such as, but not limited to, Marketing, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Chemical or Materials Engineering or an equivalent combination of training and experience; or a demonstrated capability to perform the duties of the job.A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a multidisciplinary customer-facing role is an advantage.Capable traveling with an independent work capability.Collaborative, team oriented, strong ability to work well with others, and have a customer service mentality with both internal and external stakeholders.Ability to solve and communicate both verbally and written, complex problems, where judgment is required in resolving problems and making recommendations.Working knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of common manufacturing technologies and parts fabrication techniques.Flexibility to adapt to work environment, work force, and customers’ needs.Very good proficiency using standard suite of Microsoft Office products.Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and related process.English skills - able to communicate effectively through conversation, oral presentations, and written reports.Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and curiosity.Positive and consultative demeanor with strong work ethic and the ability to interact with technical and non-technical resources.
