What the role is:With the aim of creating a safe and trusted online environment for Singapore, IMDA is looking for a Senior Manager/ Manager / Assistant Manager (Policy Planning) to join IMDA's Online Communications Office, which:a) Designs, operationalises and enforces IMDA's online content regulations relating to Online Safety and Misinformationb) Engages stakeholders within Government, and Industry to ensure effective operationalisation and compliance with online content regulations related to online safety and misinformation.Job Scope· Draft and update Codes of Practice tagged to Singapore's online safety and misinformation legislations.· Represent IMDA in discussions with industry and other stakeholders on Codes of Practice and relevant online content regulations.· Provide Policy advice and input to facilitate operational decision-making.· Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends, technologies, and challenges related to online safety.· Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on horizon scanning findings, enabling the organization to proactively address future online regulation and safety challenges.Requirements· Background in Humanities, Computer Science, Social Sciences, Mass Communications or Legal Studies.· At least 2 years of experience in a technology policy or operations related role in the private or public sectors.
