We're looking for an APAC Social Lead to help shape how our brand shows up as TikTok on TikTok across our key APAC markets, focusing primarily on Japan and Korea. This role will help shape everything from our organic content that represents the best of TikTok that week, through to the big Marketing campaigns that have Social integrated along every touch point.We're looking for someone with extensive experience in Social, with a focus on running content and strategy for all major Social platforms. We're looking for someone who lives and breathes TikTok - someone who not only understands the trends and culture, but also sees the platform's broader impact on society, the economy, and everyday lives.You're able to see a trend or Creator and understand the brand lens with which we need to look at everything editorially. We don't just post what's trending for the sake of it, we tell a bigger story about our platform, users and communities. You'll have strong guardrails for what makes it onto our handles, tying everything back to our overall business goals.This person should bring a blend of creative vision and operational excellence. You'll know how to shape standout ideas, but also how to build systems that help them scale globally. The ideal candidate brings experience working within large organizations or agencies and thrives in fast-moving, cross-functional environments.Responsibilities
- Lead content strategy and execution for TikTok's Social channels across APAC, including always-on storytelling and campaign integration.
- Work cross-functionally to develop social-first content that enhances campaigns.
- Play a key role in translating Comms & Marketing strategy into proactive, platform-appropriate content that helps build trust in our company and platform.
- Act as a central point of contact for Social across Comms, Marketing and beyond - ensuring alignment of narrative, goals and creative.
- Partner with creators, publishers, and cultural voices to bring authenticity and credibility to our storytelling.
- Work with the @TikTok Japan and Korea teams on content planning, campaigns and messaging.
- Give strong creative feedback to our partner agencies on concepts, copy, and execution, ensuring output is both on-brand and engaging.
- Manage external agencies to deliver consistent, high-quality work and productive collaboration.
- Track content performance and translate insights into actionable learnings for future campaigns.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications
- Substantial Experience working on a national or global brand in Social, ideally one with a Japanese or Korean presence. This can be experience from either working at the brand itself, or at an agency.
- Have a great track record of managing a small team.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Proven track record of integrating Social into flagship campaigns, as well as Always On content.
- Experience with Social listening tools such as Brandwatch, Sprinklr and more.
