Job Description:The Logistics Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain within the Airbus Helicopters (AH) Distribution Centre.This includes coordinating all logistical activities, ensuring seamless operations. He/she will serve as the key point of contact with AH stakeholders, transport carriers, and internal departments. He/she will also be tasked with optimizing logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.The role requires ensuring all operations are in full compliance with company policies and regulations.Responsibilities:Work closely with related AH departments to follow up goods receipt issues, shipment discrepancy and dispatch issuesResponsible to record and archive the full set of import and export shipping documentsSupport the import and export license application for export control commoditiesCoordinate with freight forwarders and carriers for shipment arrangement according to the committed schedule with customersLiaise with freight forwarder, courier services for import / export shipments.Take immediate actions for shipment delay and parcel damage issues to reduce impact of deliveryReview logistics operating flow, procedures and recommend effective improvement initiatives for performance enhancementCommunicate with Service Provider information about the activity in order to ensure Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People (SQCDP) and continuous improvementWork in close cooperation with warehouse teamAssist on ad-hoc tasks as assignedRequirements:Diploma holder in Supply Chain and Logistics or equivalentAt least 1-3 years of experience in logistics is strongly preferredKnowledge and experiences of shipment booking and pre-alert handlingProficient in MS Office applications or Google Suite, knowledge of SAP is preferredGood command of spoken and written EnglishAnalytical, meticulous-mind, planning and organizational skillsAbility to work well in a teamThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.Company: Airbus Helicopters Southeast Asia Pte LtdEmployment Type: PermanentExperience Level: Entry LevelJob Family: Logistics
