What the role is:To assist the Insights & Solutions team in IRAS in-house data science, AI solution development and data engineering work.What you will be working on:The interns will work on 1 to 2 application/model development projects, and/or data engineering work The interns will be given opportunities to: - Understand the landscape of data science and AI in IRAS - Engage business users to understand their needs and requirements - Develop/enhance applications/models based on user requirements - Build data pipelines to meet users/applications needs - Present their projects at key management meetings Key Learning Outcomes/Exposure • Understanding of application development / machine learning lifecycle • Understanding of stakeholder management • Translating business needs into software/model/data solutionsWhat we are looking for:
Strong foundation in software engineering and/or machine learning and/or big data technologies • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Good self-management skills, including an ability to be self-directed to meet project deadlines The intern will be required to commit to a minimum of 20 weeks for the internship.
