You will learn about our various business models, build your network, discover our unique divisions and brands, and gain an overview of L'Oréal, our culture and our working environment.Job DescriptionConsumer Engagement Model (CEM) - is to work with our LUX team to identify drivers to recruit and convert more consumers through modeling and AB testing.Marketing Mix Model (MMM) - is to collaborate with multiple divisions to optimize our media spending on various channels: TV, YouTube and so on.As our intern, you will
  • Manage and process data: is able to quickly get familiar with our consumer and media data schema and deliver quality analysis result by checking data integrity and applying statistical methods when needed
  • Support model development/refresh: is able to provide support on feature engineering parts by processing and transforming different data sources
  • Documentation: is able to organize and document the internship work under guidance
  • Communicate effectively: is able to reflect issues/questions on time and update timely on the progress of project to supervisor
What you will gain from this Internship
  • Business context in media and consumer space at L'Oréal: different types of channels L'Oréal invests in to reach our consumers; strategy to engage our consumers through CRM/paid mdeia campaigns
  • Technical learnings in data pipelines and modeling applications: how we leverage Google Cloud Platform on data processing and modeling development
  • End-to-end understanding in a modeling project: what/how it happens before being adopted by our business users
  • Multi-team collaboration working model: we have zone and country teams across divisions working on these 2 projects
Who are we looking for?
  • University students currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Singapore. Students from other institutes of higher education (e.g. Polytechnics) are also welcome!
  • Background in Statistics, Mathematics, Applied/Business Analytics, Computer Science
  • Good communication and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Python, Power BI
  • Proficient in SQL, preferably experience with window functions
  • Passionate in joining FMCG & beauty industries is a plus
