Associate Actuary

- Assist Client Managers with basic pricing and profitability analyses to support client proposals and treaty negotiations.
- Prepare materials for client meetings, including presentations, technical summaries, and internal briefings.
- Provide market insights by analysing publicly available data on industry and company-specific trends across Southeast Asia.
- Support key account management by tracking performance and ensuring alignment across pricing, actual experience, and valuation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support the implementation and operational readiness of new treaties.
- Respond to ad-hoc client requests and contribute actuarial perspectives to client relationship initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of actuarial experience, preferably in life or health reinsurance or insurance.
- Experience in reinsurance pricing, valuation, or experience monitoring is preferred
- Progress toward a recognized actuarial qualification (e.g., FSA, FIA, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in actuarial tools and software (e.g., Excel, VBA, R, Python, AXIS).
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to work independently in fast-paced environments and collaborate effectively across cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
