Our client is one of most prominent banks in Japan.We're looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong accounting background, excellent Excel skills, and a keen eye for detail. You'll be a key part of our finance operations, with a focus on regulatory compliance.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support day-to-day accounting, including financial statement preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with MAS regulatory reporting, particularly MAS 610 and MAS 649.
- Use your advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial modeling.
- Help with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Experience or interest in credit analysis and AML is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Experience with MAS regulatory reporting is required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
