- Conduct all diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Verify patient identity prior to examination and adhere to radiation safety protocols and consent procedures as outlined in the SOP.
- Ensure high-quality imaging output with proper labeling and completion of requested examinations before forwarding for reporting or providing wet films to patients.
- Accurately input examination codes into the system, ensuring they match the requested procedures.
- Clearly explain the examination process to patients, including what to expect and the estimated duration.
- Ensure patients' safety and comfortboth physical and emotionalduring and after the procedure.
- Implement appropriate measures to safeguard patients, staff, and the public from unnecessary exposure to ionizing radiation.
- Perform on-call and after-hours duties when required, responding promptly and in accordance with hospital standards.
- Carry out daily quality assurance (QA) checks on imaging equipment as per manufacturer guidelines to maintain optimal functionality.
- Undertake any additional duties assigned by the Director.
- Bachelors Degree in Applied Science (Radiography) or Diploma in Radiography from a recognized institution.
- Radiographer with full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
- Membership with a relevant professional body (local or international).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a diagnostic imaging setting.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties.
- Experience in sub-specialties such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Mammography is preferred.
- Candidates with experience managing modality areas may be considered for a senior role.
- Strong customer service, communication, and public relations skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good command of spoken and written English; proficiency in a second language is an advantage.
- Familiarity with PACS systems.
- Able to work a 5.5-day work week.
