Radiographer (Cardiovascular Suite)

• Carry out all diagnostic imaging services in compliance with established standards.
• Verify patient identity before examinations, ensuring adherence to radiation safety protocols and obtaining the necessary procedural consents.
• Confirm that image recordings and printed copies meet optimal quality standards prior to releasing them to doctors and patients.
• Ensure the correct examination code is accurately entered into the system in line with the requested procedure.
• Clearly explain the procedure and expected duration to patients before the examination.
• Safeguard patients safety and support their physical and emotional well-being during and after the examination.
• Take appropriate precautions to protect patients, staff, and the public from unnecessary exposure to ionizing radiation.
• Fulfill on-call and after-hours responsibilities when required, responding promptly in accordance with hospital standards.
• Conduct daily quality assurance checks on equipment as per manufacturer guidelines to maintain optimal performance.
• Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Principal Radiographer or Nursing Management.

• Bachelors degree in Applied Science (Radiography) or Diploma in Radiography from a recognized institution.
• Male Radiographer with full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
• At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Radiographer in a diagnostic imaging facility.
• Prior experience in angiography and related fields is an advantage.
• Candidates with experience managing modality areas may be considered for a senior role.
