We embrace diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.As a Manufacturing Technician (Fan Blade Manufacturing), you will be an integral part of the production team responsible for crafting complex and high-precision Wide Chord Fan Blades (WCFBs) using advanced manufacturing techniques and equipment. You will work hands-on with various tools, fixtures, CNC machinery, furnaces, automated systems, and inspection equipment in a dynamic and high-performance environment.This role involves operating in both standard and cleanroom environments and may include tasks such as bonding, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using X-ray, Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT), as well as chemical etching. - Machining & Assembly: Operate CNC machines, automated process lines, hydraulic and pneumatic tools, and specialized fixtures to produce high-precision components.
- Cleanroom Operations: Perform tasks such as bonding, etching, and non-destructive testing (X-ray, FPI, UT) within a cleanroom environment.
- Quality Compliance: Work in accordance with detailed written and illustrated technique sheets, standard operating procedures, and stringent quality control standards.
- Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
- Housekeeping & 5S: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by upkeeping 5S standards and adhering to housekeeping protocols.
- NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Aerospace, Precision Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
- Basic understanding of mechanical components and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret and read engineering drawings, including 3D feature drawings.
- Willingness to work on rotating shifts and perform overtime as needed, including weekends and public holidays.
- Comfortable working in cleanroom environments and with machinery.
